I have found/am looking after a stray cat/dog, what should I do?
If you have found a lost pet, you should contact your local council and they will advise you on the appropriate steps.

Yes, The Lost Dogs’ Home Vet Hospital is wholly owned and run by The Lost Dogs’ Home, which includes the iconic animal shelter founded in 1901.

Yes. The Lost Dogs’ Home is a registered not-for-profit charity and the largest not-for-profit animal shelter in Australia. This means that the Lost Dogs’ Home Vet Hospital is entirely not-for-profit, with all revenue going towards our mission to provide care for lost dogs, cats, and other companion animals.
